Postcode Brief reports the highest available fixed-line technology and advertised download speed at the postcode, from Ofcom Connected Nations data.
Full fibre vs superfast
Superfast (30Mbps+) may be enough for streaming; full fibre matters if you upload large files or need low latency. Check both availability and whether the specific flat is connected.
Mobile backup
If fixed-line options are poor, check mobile coverage separately. Postcode Brief includes a mobile coverage summary where Ofcom data is available.
